Now that Technical Allies is offering Website Hosting again, it makes me think back to years ago when I first started providing hosting services.  It was really tough.  This had to be about 12 years ago if I recall.  I was living in a small single bedroom apartment, and had gotten a DSL connection with a static IP address to host websites on.  I had a single Windows server, and I think it was hamster powered for all the speed it had.  I offered hosting to local businesses on Long Island here in New York, and didn't have many customers.  I finally had to give it up because I just couldn't keep the server up and running anymore.

In a way, because Technical Allies is now offering reliable and affordable hosting, it just makes me smile and remember.  And makes me feel really OLD now!
